Nothing exciting

Well I thought it was time to write a general update just to make ppl happy if they check my blog and nothing has happened. Well Christmas came and went and so is january: I went down to Melbourne to visit mum and dad for nine days which was good. Got to go see the tennis which is always good (no there is no implied hint that visiting family isn't always good). Now I'm settled back in townsville with my little brother mark moving here in order to start uni. Mark is doing a B of New Media arts. Unfortunently he didn't get into John Flynn but is on the waiting list so hopefully something comes up- we are starting to look for places. This year shapes to be an unusual one I'll possibly be taking on an MTS role in church as well as working part time. MTS (Ministry training scheme) is designed to give people a taste of ministry in various fields. Well thats about all my new except we nearly won the Trivia contest at the riverview tavern- we led from start to finish but were caught in a draw on the very last section. It then went down to a drinking contest which our designated member lost- kinda a good thing though- would sound bad if it got out that we won a drinking contest :D.
